Paradise Buffet Montebello

New spot and honestly it's horrible! The salad bar is lacking a lot of veggies and, the salad dressings are watered down. The entrees are basically low grade fast-food Chinese food, the American food is Hometown Buffet style food. The Mongolian BBQ lacks flavor and the meat is freezer dried. Their clam chowder was also watered down. Their dessert selection has frozen cakes and although they seem to bake their own cookies and they tastes just as nasty! Dried out and disgusting! I will not be returning! Service is okay, I mean how can you go wrong with picking up dirty plates? Anyone giving this place a good review seriously has not had anything better! So they don't know any better!

Picked up my car next door at ford and decided to give this place a try. Oh man I came during lunch , and it was only $19.83 a person after drinks n tax. AMAZING PRICE for the quality of food u get! Best thing about this place is their Mongolian bbq , prime ribs, mash potatoes, even their fish was pretty nice. Salad bar has pretty good Variety of toppings but only lettuce and broccoli as base, but I hop over to Mongolian bbq section and got myself celery mushrooms and tomatoes, corn in hot section to top it off to my liking :) Sushi was 7-11 quality so I would suggest not to waste ur stomach room on them. very clean environment and I enjoyed my lunch very very much. I Will bring friends back here for sure!

Pandemic review: less than 1 hour before closing 06/16/22 (Pictures may be a little blurry due to Google downscaling the photos) Price is decent. Dinner: expect to pay ~$20 w/o a drink and over $20 w/ a drink Lunch: you can expect to pay about less than $20 Children and senior pricing are available. Surprisingly good. Newly remodeled. Not too crowded. Zero line waiting. Seating was wet from busing dishes... The waiter was nice and helpful, but clearly hoping for tips from my table; at least he was willing to work extra hard for it, like asking if we wanted refills and offering to get us coffee. My party sat adjacent to the waiter station. The sushi is okay to good (according to a friend) There are a couple of key items that are good on the dinner menu: If you can eat 2-3 good plates of Mongolian BBQ, then it was already worth visiting for you and the business. Lots of garlic and onions are a must for maximum deliciousness!!! A couple scoops of sauces are recommended for the noodles, and your add-ons. The meats are sliced flat and not into frozen curls. The beef pot roast is great, I liked mixing it with the mashed potatoes. It fell apart and was juicy and tender. The meatloaf seemed like it had potential but the business was closing so it was dry and kind of getting hard. The banana bread pudding is delicious!!!!!!!

Tuesday 12/19/23 Lunch at Paradise Buffet in Montebello with my friend-former colleague Michelle. Trying out this new buffet. The foods were good. It has a Mongolian grill and lots of different deserts. The service staffs were friendly and worked quickly to pick up your empty plates. New restaurant decor with lots of seatings. This restaurant can accommodate large groups. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast

It was a really fresh and friendly place. Very good price for buffet. Having a hibachi grill was a plus. Place is always packed, so food are fresh. No leftover food. Servers are really nice. Not long wait. I always enjoyed it. Not very fancy, over the top varieties food, but very reasonable price for that much food plus fresh taste.

Paradise Buffet Montebello just reopened again.. personally, I like sushi, so I went straight to the sushi bar. Honestly, I was disappointed first and foremost by the size is cut off very tiny, small, and it had no flavor, so dry. It must be the ingredients they used. Their variety isn't that great. They need a real sushi chef. They don't offer raw tuna or salmon cubes. I was very impressed with their hibachi, I like the idea of the customer choosing their sauce. If you're a sea food lover, not much yo choose from. It's reasonable priced. It's very clean and the busboy takes away your empty place quickly. Overall, I will give a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. I hope they will improve or change the menu from time to time.
